University of Utah Department of Orthopaedics Welcomes Dr. Megan Campbell to Foot & Ankle Division

Salt Lake City, UT — The University of Utah Department of Orthopaedics is pleased to announce the appointment of Megan Campbell, MD as a tenure-track Instructor in the Foot & Ankle Division, effective Monday, September 29.

Dr. Campbell joins the department with a strong academic and clinical background in orthopaedic surgery, along with a passion for delivering patient-centered, evidence-based care.

A native of Clinton, New Jersey, Dr. Campbell earned her undergraduate degree in Mathematics from St. Olaf College in Minnesota, where she also played collegiate soccer.

She went on to attend Rutgers New Jersey Medical School for her medical degree and completed a dedicated research year at Columbia University, focusing on pediatric spinal deformity and cerebral palsy.

Dr. Campbell completed her orthopaedic surgery residency at the University of Utah, followed by a fellowship in Foot & Ankle Surgery at OrthoCarolina in Charlotte, North Carolina. She is an active member of the American Orthopaedic Foot and Ankle Society and the Orthopaedic Trauma Association.

We are delighted to welcome Dr. Campbell back to the University of Utah. Her expertise, dedication to academic excellence, and commitment to high-quality patient care make her an outstanding addition to our faculty.

Dr. Campbell’s clinical interests include complex foot and ankle reconstruction, sports injuries, and trauma, and she brings a collaborative, multidisciplinary approach to her work.

Welcome Dr. Megan Campbell to the University of Utah Orthopaedics team. Dr. Campbell is now accepting new patients at the Farmington Health Center and the University Orthopaedic Center.
