About Me

I was born and raised in Salt Lake City, Utah. I completed my undergraduate studies in biology at Westminster College in Salt Lake City and went on to attend medical school at the University of Utah. Between my third and fourth years of medical school, I completed a dedicated research year with the shoulder and elbow surgery department at the University of Utah to gain further exposure to the field and deepen my understanding of orthopaedic care.

Medical Areas of Interest

I am interested in all areas of orthopaedic surgery and remain open to exploring the full breadth of the specialty.

Interests & Hobbies

I enjoy spending time outdoors—hunting, fishing, and riding dirt bikes. I also enjoy working on classic cars with my family.

Why Utah?

As a medical student at the University of Utah, I had an outstanding experience working alongside the residents and faculty. The faculty are true leaders in their fields and all orthopaedic subspecialties are strongly represented. There is a strong focus on resident education and an unparalleled operative experience. I was also able to help establish a free community orthopaedic clinic in Salt Lake which is an initiative I hope to continue as a resident. As a Utah native, I feel fortunate for the opportunity to train in the state where I grew up and to remain close to my family.
