About Me

I'm a French American who grew up in a military family moving often throughout my life. My family is mostly in Normandy, France, but my parents are currently close by in Las Vegas. I have two sisters, one a talented performer and the other a brilliant SICU nurse. I was driven to become a physician from a young age and was drawn to Orthopedics' for its ability to restore a person's mobility and improve quality of life through the treatment of musculoskeletal disease.

Medical Areas of Interest

I am keeping an open mind and excited to discover what specialty suits me.

Interests & Hobbies

I will participate in anything that involves food, physical challenges, or the outdoors. In particular, I love traveling, hiking, trying out exercise classes, and eating treats with a view. These next 5 years, I am hoping to get back into skiing, pick up biking, and go to some of the many concerts/events that are always coming through SLC.

Why Utah?

I really felt Utah had it all. I think there is every opportunity here to create whatever experience you want out of residency training. I was particularly drawn to the 6 months of elective time you get in your chief year, the emphasis on quality didactics and academic opportunities, and how incredible the residents and faculty are not only as surgeons but as people. Importantly, I can't imagine a better culture than what you find at the U.

Hometown

Utah is my 15th home and the next 5 years will be the longest I've stayed in one place!
