I grew up in Mapleton, Utah and attended the University of Utah for my undergraduate studies and medical school.

Why Utah?
I chose Utah because I believe it is one of the most balanced Orthopaedic Surgery residency programs in the country. The program offers excellent training and academic research opportunity within each sub-specialty. I've always been very impressed with the supportive culture and camaraderie that exists amongst the Orthopaedic residents, faculty, and staff. Finally, Utah is a gorgeous state with a seemingly countless number of available outdoor activities.
